Our Community
   Sycamore Middle School is located in the community of Sycamore, Illinois. Sycamore is situated in northern Illinois approximately  60 miles west of the city of Chicago. This rural community has a population of 11,000 and is surrounded by fertile farm fields. Sycamore is the site of the famous "Pumpkin Festival" attended by 100,000 visitors from around the world.

Our School
    Sycamore Middle School was dedicated April 13, 1980 and since opening has had two additions added. Our enrollment is currently 790 students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. We have a staff of 90 employees dedicated to the quality education of children.
    Sycamore Middle School has developed a philosophy toward education that is child centered and expressly designed to meet the needs of young adolescents.
