Welcome! Family Reaching for the Stars is a great goal for our students, staff, and parents. At North School we value all of the hard work, effort, and dedication each member places into the learning process! One piece of the learning puzzle is defined in the Sycamore District Strategic Plan in which students learn to appreciate and understand the core values. The core values are implemented throughout the school year. We are very lucky that North School has a variety of talented staff members capable of accomplishing these goals! The third, fourth, and fifth grade students will be administered the Illinois Standards Achievement Tests during the week of March 5th - 9th. These tests are required by the state of Illinois. The results of state tests will be reported to you on the School Report Card by the end of October next school year. May 3 - Open House for 2012 -2013 Kindergartner - 6-7 p.m. May 7 - 11 - ISEL Testing Grades K-2 May 14 - PTO Meeting 6:30 p.m. May 16 - 5th Grade visit to the Middle School May 18 - PTO Family Dance at North School 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 21 - Band Concert at High School 7 p.m. May 28 - No School - Memorial Day May 29 - Field Day May 31 - Last Day of School - Dismissal 11:30 a.m.
