Finding Your Happy- Summer 2018!!
Sycamore Community School District 427 offers summer child care for children who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade. OSCAR Summer Care offers children a safe, quality summer experience with an emphasis on academics, health and wellness, community service, and summertime fun.
Summer OSCAR meets Monday – Friday, from when school dismisses for the summer through mid-August. The program is open from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM. An early morning drop-off, beginning at 6:00 AM, is available for a separate fee. The program is closed on Wednesday, July 4, 2018.
Activities and Programming
The program will offer academic opportunities, wellness activities, arts and crafts, themed activities, swimming, field trips, and organized recreation and play time. The program partners with the Sycamore Park District, the Midwest Museum of Natural History, and the Sycamore History Museum to provide special programming throughout the summer.
Meals and Snacks
Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack will be provided daily to students at no extra fee.
All prior OSCAR balances must be paid in full before registration will be accepted for the summer session.
An application must be completed. A $40 non-refundable registration fee per child and a deposit of $150 per child ($300 max) is required at the time of registration. Only the deposit will be applied toward your childcare fees.
