Registration | Confirmation Key | Using the Portal | Contact Information | IE7 Error Message
I don't know my child's id number.
Your child's id number is on their id card. It is also listed on your child's progress report/report card. Your child should also be able to tell you their id number. They use this number when they log into the computers at school.
I was able to register some of my children, but not all of them.
All information must be correct for the child, including legal name, birthdate (in 00/00/0000 format), and student id number.
The parent name being used must be the same as the one the school has on file. It's possible the "Beth" was used on one student's file while "Elizabeth" was used on another. Fill out a helpdesk request if you think this is the problem.
Students, custodial parents and legal guardians are the only ones who are automatically allowed to register for the portal. If you are the non-custodial parent or a stepparent, you will have to be granted permission from the custodial parent or legal guardian in order to sign up for the portal.
When I log in, it asks me for a confirmation key. What is that?
When you register, an email is sent to the account you use for registration. That email contains your confirmation key. This key will only be needed the first time you log in. If you did not receive this email, check your email's junkmail folder. If you still do not see the confirmation key, send the information using the helpdesk form. It's possible that you mistyped your email address.
I'm using the confirmation key that was sent to me, but it isn't working.
The best way to input the confirmation key is to copy it and paste it in the confirmation key location. This eliminates the problem of mistyping the key or mistaking the letter O with the number 0.
Also make sure that you don't have any extra spaces in the key location either at the beginning or the end of the key.
When I click on "Skills", it shows "1st-3rd grade skills" but my child isn't in those grades.
The "Skills" tab is only for elementary aged students. It is the information that is sent home each quarter. If your child isn't elementary school aged, you should ignore this section. If you child is in elementary school, but not in 1st-3rd grades, you will need to click the drop down arrow and choose the correct grade level.
I don't see much information for my elementary aged child.
The parent portal doesn't have as much information for the elementary student. The main areas for this age would be "Attendance" and "Skills".
When I click on "Grades", it looks like it hasn't been updated for a long time.
The "Grades" section represents the report card for grades 6-12. If your child is in elementary school, this section should be ignored. Since this is the report card section, the date will represent the date of the last report card.
The links for Assignments, Grades and Skills have disappeared.
These tabs are removed towards the end of each quarter to allow teachers to enter those grades and send them home. These tabs will be returned once the progress reports have been sent home.
The contact information (phone, address, etc) on the site isn't correct. What should I do?
If the contact information is incorrect, you will need to contact your child's school to correct it.
I am receiving an error that says "Application is already opened! Multiple instances of this application using IE7 tabs or using File > New Window....."
