Character on Display at North Grove!

If you visit the lunchroom at North Grove you will notice a new incentive chart posted for each grade level.  Grade levels that show cooperation and respect during lunch earn a star for that day.  Once the students fill a row on the chart the entire grade level earns a BOLD award.  Another incentive program that is new at North Grove is the “Golden Whistle Award”.  This award is given to the grade level that shows responsibility and cooperation at recess.  The weekly winners are announced on Friday and the winning grade gets to keep the “Golden Whistle” for one week. 

North Grove also displayed great character last month through the “Helping a Hawk to Help Haiti” program.  Caring and citizenship were on display as the North Grove family raised nearly $1,000.00 for the Haiti Relief Efforts.  Thank you to everyone who supported this great program!
