A little about me...
I started teaching 4th grade here at South Prairie in the 2008-2009 school year. Prior to joining South Prairie’s staff I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Business from Columbia College Chicago, but realized that what I really wanted to do was teach. After subbing for several years in the Kaneland School District, I decided to go back to school to earn my Master’s Degree in Teaching with Certification. I graduated from Aurora University in the Spring of 2008.
I live in DeKalb with my husband, Adam, who is also a teacher, our son Conor, and our cats Finn and Brady. In my free time you might find me spending time with my big family, singing, or running. Because Adam is a coach, we also spend a lot of our free time at sporting events!
I absolutely love teaching 4th grade (the kids are at an awesome age :) and I feel very lucky to be teaching in the Sycamore School District!!
