Education - B.S. in elementary education from Illinois State University
M.S. in administration from Northern Illinois
Personal - Married and has one son. Her family lives in St. Charles. Mrs. Currie enjoys attending her son's sports games, reading, gardening, and travelingOur school serves approximately 320 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. We have fifteen classrooms and class sizes range from 17-26 students. In order to meet the needs of our children, we have a dedicated team of 40+ staff members to support the students and their programs.
Working together with our parents and community, we are able to encourage and assist children in reaching their full potential. We realize the importance of parent support and their active participation in their child's education is essential for their school success.
The staff and I are very proud of our school and look forward to sharing our activities and pertinent information with you. This year, West School's goals are in the area of literacy, math, and community building. Please check back regularly to see how we are doing. Thank you!.
