Welcome to Music
	Mrs. Miller
	Music is an exciting class for many students. Students come to music once a week for forty minutes. During that time, students engage in many activities including singing, playing instruments, composing, listening, moving, dancing, and playing singing games. Under the curriculum link, you will find a specific curriculum for each grade level. Hopefully, for many students music class will serve as a springboard for a lifelong enjoyment of music.

Upcoming Events

October 22nd- Elementary Choir Festival                               6 p.m. at the High School Auditorium

October 24th- Pumpkin fest Performance                    9:30 a.m. at the High School Field House

November 7th- JEM Festival in Rochelle.  This is an extracurricular activity for 5th              graders to get more experience in one of the following ensembles: folk dance, choir          chimes, African drumming, Orff ensemble, or choir.

November 20th- KSO Children’s Concert for 4th grade students.                                              10 a.m. at the Egyptian Theatre, Dekalb
