 December Little Red Schoolhouse winners from North Grove Elementary were Allyson Holder, Deb Wheeler, Tiffany Ryan, & Joe Maurer
 Congratulations to South Prairie Elementary teacher, Mrs. Jackie Cleven, who recently passed the National Board Certification and will be receiving her Master Teacher Certificate in the areas of Literacy, reading, and Language Arts.
 November Little Red Schoolhouse winners from North Elementary were Holly Majerus, Chris Berg, Betsy Ward, and Fred Davis.
 Walmart Representative Mrs. Sally Poe, presented award certificates to 10 teachers at North Grove Elementary School. Nationally, the Teacher Rewards Program provides more than 4 million dollars to 40,000 teachers.
 The DeKalb American Legion Post #66 presented the colors during a flag ceremony at South Prairie Elementary School on Tuesday, November 10, 2009.
