Bickley named Girls’ Soccer Head Coach

The Sycamore Board of Education and the Administration of the Sycamore Community School District 427 proudly announce the appointment of Kevin Bickley as the new Girls’ Head Soccer Coach at Sycamore High School.

Mr. Bickley is a graduate of Bishop Luers High School (IN) where he played soccer for all four years, and Indiana Wesleyan University, where he also played for four years.

Bickley has served as a coach in several area programs, including DeKalb High School, Spectre Soccer Club, Kaneland Soccer Club, and NIFC.  He served as the Head Mens’ Soccer Coach at Kishwaukee College from 2011-2013, and, most recently, Bickley has been the Assistant Varsity Coach at Kaneland High School for the boys and girls programs, serving a total of 12 seasons on the girls’ side.

Sycamore High Athletic Director Chauncey Carrick added, “We are very excited to have Kevin as our next Girls’ Soccer Coach.  Kevin is very knowledgeable in the sport and has many connections in the soccer fraternity.  Kevin will work hard to put the girls in a position to be successful.”

Mr. Bickley and his family currently reside in Sycamore.  “I am extremely excited about the opportunity to be the new Head Girls’ Soccer Coach at Sycamore High School.  I look forward to working with our players to build on the program’s tradition and past successes.”  Coach Bickley’s duties will begin immediately.
