Sycamore Community School District 427 is pleased to announce that Lori Stover has accepted an expanded role with the Office of Business Services as the Payroll and Benefits Manager. This expansion follows Stover’s most recent role as Benefits Specialist.

"I am excited for this new position. I have large shoes to fill, but I am ready for and welcome the challenge,” said Stover. “I am prepared to embrace this amazing opportunity to continue growing within the Sycamore School District."

Stover has served the district since 2010, when she started as a paraprofessional at Life School. She moved to North Elementary as a health paraprofessional in 2014, then transferred to West Elementary in 2018 to assume the role of building secretary. In 2019, Stover accepted a position as the district’s first District Registrar and later took over as the Benefits Specialist in November of 2021.

Assistant Superintendent for Business Services, Nicole Stuckert, is glad to keep Stover on her team. "I am thrilled to continue working with Lori and utilizing her strengths in her new role as the Payroll and Benefits Manager. Lori has proven over her tenure that she plays a vital role in the Sycamore School District, and I look forward to her bringing her expertise in employee relationships with her as she transitions into her new role," said Stuckert.

Stover will officially assume the role of Payroll and Benefits Manager on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, upon the retirement of current Payroll Manager Jayne Klein.
