Support the Spartan Food Pantry at Heroes on the Hardwood 2024
The Sycamore community is invited to Heroes on the Hardwood, an event benefitting the Spartan Food Pantry! Members of the Sycamore Police and Fire Departments will be facing off against Sycamore CUSD 427 staff on Tuesday, December 19 in the Sycamore High School Main Gym for an exhibition basketball game to raise donations for the Spartan Food Pantry.
Tip-off for the game will be at 6:30 PM. The price of admission is a donation to the Spartan Food Pantry. Donations include:
- Non-expired, non-perishable food items
- Canned soups, broths, vegetables, fruits, tuna, chicken
- School snacks/lunch items
- Pasta, rice, beans
- Juice, shelf-stable milk, water
- Peanut butter
- Personal Care Items:
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Shampoo and Conditioner
- Bar Soap or Shower Gel
- Baby Shampoo, baby wipes
- Trash bags, storage bags, cleaning supplies
- Paper products
- Paper plates
- Napkins
- Paper towels
- Toilet paper
- Dog and Cat Food/Treats
- Cash Donations
