Sycamore High School Selected for Marquee Sports Network Community Showcase Football Game

Marquee Sports Network has selected Sycamore High School to host a Community Showcase football game this fall, shining a spotlight on the talents of SpartanTV student broadcasters and Spartan football.

The Spartans will face LaSalle-Peru on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Homecoming Game at Engh Field. The matchup will be produced by SpartanTV students and streamed nationwide across all Marquee Sports Network platforms as part of the network’s Community Showcase series.

“This is an outstanding opportunity for our entire school community. We're thrilled that Marquee Sports Network has chosen to put a spotlight on the amazing work of our SpartanTV students, who will be producing the entire live broadcast for a nationwide audience,” said Mr. Brian Swanson, Sycamore High School Principal. “This is a tremendous real-world experience for them. Additionally, it's a great honor for our football team to be featured in our Homecoming game, and we can't wait to see them play on this special stage.”

Fans can tune in to the broadcast through Marquee Sports Network’s digital platforms, app, and website. The Homecoming Game will not be available on Hudl.

The Community Showcase series highlights high school football programs and student broadcast teams across the region, providing hands-on professional experiences while celebrating local school spirit.
