Sycamore Middle School’s G-Force Club and Coroco: Brewing a Powerful Partnership

At Sycamore Community School District 427, we love to hear stories of our students igniting their passions and fostering creativity. That’s why we were so excited to hear of a recent collaboration between Sycamore Middle School’s G-Force Club and Coroco, Sycamore’s very own roastery.

 

The G-Force Club is an exceptional group of young women who are all about diving into the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Their enthusiasm for exploration and learning knows no bounds.

 

During their recent visit to Coroco, our G-Force Club members suited up in their lab coats and eagerly embraced the challenge of crafting their very own signature drink. The team of students worked together throughout the process, tasting and experimenting until they found the perfect blend.

 

After an afternoon of trial and error, they finalized their creation: The Vanilla Haze, a mix of a Vanilla, Cookie Butter, and Hazelnut Cold Brew Latte. This delicious beverage is a true testament to their creativity and ingenuity, offering a fusion of sweet and nutty flavors.

 

The G-Force Club is gearing up for the SMS Science Olympiad on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 5:30-8:00 PM at Sycamore Middle School. This is a free family-friendly event, open to the public. With the support of Coroco, the G-Force Club will be running a booth at the event, selling their Vanilla Haze and other tasty treats. Every dollar raised will go directly back to the club, fueling their future projects and endeavors.

 

If you are unable to attend the SMS Science Olympiad, you can also support the G-Force Club by rounding up your Coroco order and donating the difference throughout the month of March.
