Update on Administration Center Move and Event Adjustments

The scheduled move to the new District Administration Center at 1947 Bethany Road in Sycamore, originally set for April 7-11, has been postponed. During the high wind storms on Saturday, March 15, the building sustained roof and interior damage, requiring repairs before we can proceed. The district’s liability insurance will cover the repairs, which will take place over the next 6-8 weeks. At this time, we do not have a confirmed new move date.

As a result, the following events will be impacted:

• Farewell to Central School Open House (originally May 3) – This event will be postponed to Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
• Staff Recognition Reception (May 29, 6:00-7:30 PM) – This event will still take place as planned, but the location is to be determined. More details will be shared soon.
• Ribbon Cutting Ceremony (originally June 3) – This event will be postponed to a later date.
