Superintendent Steve Wilder:

I’m excited to welcome all our students and staff to the 2022-23 school year!

This morning, more than 3,500 students walked through the doors of our schools — and we were ready and waiting! Our staff has been preparing all summer by cleaning and completing upgrades to our buildings. Over the last few weeks we saw more and more staff in their classrooms and other spaces making their final preparations. And yesterday and Monday, we met to put the finishing touches on everything.

I want to recognize the hard work of our staff who come together each day with a shared purpose to support our students. They are focused, and our students are at the heart of everything we do.

Spartans, today is day one. The end of the year seems far off now, but every journey starts with one step, followed by another, and then another. We are excited to welcome you back, and we hope you reconnect with your peers and our staff right away. As you do that, we hope you put in your best effort every day to reach your potential.

I truly believe this is going to be a wonderful school year, let’s all do our part to make that happen. Go Spartans!
