Communications
The office of communications is proud to be the storyteller and relationship builder of the District. Each day, the office works to share the accomplishments of our students and staff with the community. The office fosters open, two-way conversation with students, staff, families, and the community.
The office of communications manages many platforms of District communication including the website, social media accounts, Comcast Channel 14 – SpartanTV, and MetroNet Channel 2 — SpartanTV. In emergency and other important situations, the office oversees the notifications sent to stakeholders.
The communications team works with every school, department, and employee throughout the District to support event planning, family communications, video production, photography, and design and publication services.
Strategic Communications Plan
The Strategic Communications Plan is a framework for engaging our district's stakeholders and is designed to be dynamic and thorough. It serves as a working document to be updated and reviewed annually by the Superintendent of Schools and the Director of Communications and Community Engagement.
Sycamore Community School District 427 maintains a social media presence as a way of connecting with our community.
Our people and programs are what make our District great. It is the privilege of the communications office to tell their stories.
We are always excited to hear from our community, and we are dedicated to improvements. Do you have an experience you would like to share?
