Innovative Learning

As the world around us changes, Sycamore Community School District 427 is proud to offer innovative learning experiences to our students, empowering them to succeed in their world.

Learning environment, instruction, and curriculum are all elements of the District’s approach to innovative learning. The office of learning and teaching and the office of technology work together to explore trends in education and determine which trends best support our mission. This includes the integration of educational technology in our classrooms and other learning environments.

Through our innovative learning initiatives, we are redesigning learning spaces, reimagining the school day, and redefining instructional experiences for our students.

Walk to Learn

Each of our learners is unique. As we strive to empower all of our learners to be successful in their world, we recognize that some of them need further challenge beyond their grade level curriculum and instruction.

By providing each of our students a Chromebook, we also enhance their educational experience by allowing them to research, collaborate, and create beyond the walls of the traditional classroom.
