Public comment is allowed for up to 30 minutes at each regular or special Board meeting, unless extended by a majority vote of the Board. Speakers must comment during the designated agenda time, follow the direction of the Board President, state their name and address, and keep remarks brief, typically within three minutes.

In accordance with Board Policy 5:150, Board Policy 2:220, and applicable state and federal laws, the district does not comment publicly on confidential personnel matters, including employee leaves, performance, disciplinary matters, or the specific circumstances surrounding resignations or separation agreements. When personnel actions require Board of Education approval, the public portions of those actions are reflected in Board meeting agendas and approved meeting minutes. Community members seeking publicly available information regarding Board action are encouraged to review these documents.

How does the district ensure taxpayer dollars are used responsibly?
