Half-Day Dismissal Days: What Families Need to Know

On half-day dismissal dates, lunch will not be served. However, students who sign up in advance may receive a bagged lunch to take home. Students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals will receive a bagged lunch at the applicable free or reduced rate. An email will be sent to parents/guardians with directions about ordering a lunch prior to each half-day.

• Friday, October 23, 2026
• Friday, January 15, 2027
• Friday, April 16, 2027
• Thursday, May 27, 2027* (Tentative Last Day of Student Attendance)

Please note: The last day of student attendance is subject to change if emergency days are used during the school year.

Dismissal Times

• Elementary Schools: 12:00 ​PM
• Sycamore Middle School: 11:00 ​AM
• Sycamore High School: 11:05 ​AM

After-school care for elementary students will be available through OSCAR on half-day dismissal dates. Registration information will be shared closer to each half-day. We will also send reminders throughout the school year with dismissal times and lunch information to help families plan ahead.
